Player Updates

We are pleased to announce the signing of Scott Bridges from Banbury United FC. Scott is a 26 year-old midfielder who initially signed for Banbury United in December 2007 after he was released by Aston Villa where he had been on professional terms for two years. He had earned a total of 9 England caps at U16 and U17 level. After a spell at Ardley United Scott rejoined Banbury in 2012. Scott is included in the squad for tonight’s game against Beaconsfield.

Meanwhile, Sam Spencer has left the Club by mutual consent. Promotion at work meant Sam will be spending a lot of time travelling around the UK and Europe and would not be able to continue with the level of commitment that is required to play football at our level. We wish Sam all the very best in his new role.
