Seven, but it could have been more

Hi there.

A great win today against a lowly positioned North Greenford team.

A solid if not convincing win and by that I mean the a score line should and could have been a lot more!!

Harsh I hear you say and a 7-1 win is an emphatic win but with the standards we are now setting with these lads. They all know we should have totally battered them.

We have so much quality in our group that even one goal conceded is one too many!

High expectations equals positive results in my book. I will not these talented lads under achieve!

We have a great set of lads this season. All wanting success. I intend to guide them to it but that means keeping to the high standards these lads have set themselves!!

In my opinion there is a sense of complete belief that we will be very competitive this year. My job is to keep that belief. Embrace it and push our lads to levels we know we can get to.

Hopefully everyone is enjoying it at the moment. I'd be the first to say the notion of "Total football " has lessened a bit but results are vital and I believe we are getting there with the right balance!
