Special Mention For Our Youngsters

An entertaining night down at Garden Walk last night with the “Crows” eventually ending up deserving winners by 4 goals to 1 but not all plain sailing for us due to a fantastic goal by our visitors against the run of play putting them 1-0 up at halftime.

Not a score line that was deserved but for our point of view a case of carrying on where we had done in the first half but adding the vital “Finishing touch” badly needed.

Credit to our boys and they did just that with some brilliant phases of play to get us into a winning position and not only that continued our dominance to stretch the lead.

A good all round performance but special mention to our young boys who showed great character to turn the result our way.

Good signs but now to keep these high standards up. The lads know that there is competition for places in nearly every position which can only be positive for the group as a whole.

Hopefully the squad will remain together. All are in my opinion “First teamers” so selection is difficult but healthy in a successful campaign.

Well done to you all, especially the lads at the moment on the fringes. They ALL have showed exceptional attitude. All I can say is with injuries, suspensions and lack of form ALL will be needed for the duration of the season. Individually they must keep hold of their shirt and when given their opportunity, excel to force their way in.

As said previously the atmosphere amongst the players is superb and long may that continue. Positive results will further enhance it. I know your support is greatly appreciated.
