Generally a Positive Day

Our fourth league win of the season against a resolute Chesham Utd team. Three points is as ever all-important, we will play better but our resilience was tested and generally it was a positive day.

Full marks to Chris who worked on the lads with their defensive shape. It really paid dividends especially when yet again we had a player sent off. This time Scott Thomas.

Scott was very remorseful afterwards, as with all the previous players. I won’t defend him but will keep my thoughts in house.

On to a home game Tuesday against local rivals St Ives Town. An opportunity to put more points on the board but nothing to be taken for granted.

Look after yourselves boys, We will need ALL the squad over this busy period!!
