Through To Cup Final!

Well done to one and all for achieving a cup final status tonight beating Hodessdon 2-0 in the semi final of the Herts Senior Cup.

Yet again the need for certain lads to be rested after a hectic league schedule was in my opinion needed but players previously lacking game time come to the fore with aplomb, doing themselves and their first team aspirations no harm whatsoever.

Really pleasing to have an entire squad playing so confidently.

It will be a hard selection choice for Saturday’s match, one that us managers always want but tough on the boys left out nonetheless.

Hopefully the weather will not be an issue for Saturday’s game, I’m sure all the players would prefer going down to Frome on a weekend rather than midweek.

At the moment we want the games to come along ”Thick and fast”. Barring injuries the boys are on a high and whilst on this wave of optimism we need to get points under our belt.

Not sure when the final is or who we will be playing, would be great if we could take a big amount of supporters along, have heard it’s at Bishops Stortford’s ground so may have to call a few favours in to local mates to come!!
