CLUB STATEMENT: Incident during Banbury United game

CLUB STATEMENT

Following an incident during yesterday’s game against Banbury United Royston Town FC would like to make it clear that the club does not and will not accept racism or discrimination in any form. Rest assured, we take any such incidents extremely seriously and shall take the strongest possible action against any individual found to be behaving in such a way, including stadium bans. The Club will fully investigate the incident and upon conclusion, will take the necessary action against the individual. In line with the FA’s protocol, the individual concerned was immediately ejected from the ground by Royston Town FC officials

The club will be making no further public comment until the investigations are completed.
