TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW: August 26-28th

Hi and welcome to this bank holiday weekend preview with Royston Town FC.

We start our bank holiday fixture at home to Coalville Town, they are the only team not to have beaten us in our encounters against each other.

Last weekend Royston got their first win of the season winning at Long Eaton United 3-1 while Coalville Town lost 6-1 at home to Needham Market which was the shock result in our league as I don’t think anyone saw it coming . Coalville will want to lift themselves up again.

Saturday’s fixtures:

On Bank Holiday Monday Royston Town travel to our local rivals Hitchin Town in the A505 or North Herts derby.

Our last meeting against Hitchin Town was just last month in the Herts Charity Cup quarter final with Hitchin Town winning 2-1 so we’ll be looking to get some revenge.
