TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – 9-10th September

Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC, Royston Town Women and Royston Town U23’s.

First up is Royston Town FC when they host Alvechurch FC as League action returns after the FA Cup break with both us and Alvechurch both progressing to the next round of the FA Cup. This is the third Saturday game in a row for the 1st team at home. With another home game the Saturday after when we host Hemel Hempstead Town in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. Our last league results Royston Town won 2-1 at Hitchin Town after being 1-0 down while Alvechurch and Redditch United played out a cracking result with a 4-4 draw.

Next up is Royston Town FC Women with them also being at home the following day against King’s Lynn Town Ladies. Both clubs have had a really rough start to the season with neither of us picking up a single point this season, the only clubs left in our league and both falling to heavy defeats on Sunday. Both clubs will be looking to get off the mark.

Last up is Royston Town U23’s as they are on the road once again as they travel to Long Buckby AFC. Both clubs had midweek action away with us drawing at Huntingdon Town 1-1 while Long Buckby AFC lost 4-3 at Buckingham FC.
