TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – February 8th & 9th
Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC, Royston Town Women, Royston Town Reserves and Royston Town Vets.
First up, Royston Town FC travel to Warwickshire to take on the Bards of Stratford Town FC in the Southern League Premier Centrál Division, on Saturday in a 3pm kick-off. Stratford Town’s ground is a bogey ground similar to Leiston with Royston only having one win at their stadium, with Royston’s only win there in an FA Trophy match with a 2-1 scoreline thanks to an Own Goal and a Matt Bateman strike.

Next up, Royston Town Women will host Biggleswade United Women in the Quarter Finals of the Eastern Region Women’s League Cup, Sunday, 2pm kick-off. Last Sunday’s scheduled game against them was called off due to frost. The winners of the tie will travel to Luton Town Ladies in the Semi-Final.
