An eleventh straight victory for the under 16s in all competitons and this the second time of the season the side has notched double figures. The team determination to win was evident throughout, the hard, dusty pitch proving a difficulty but not a hindrance to Royston's normal fast attacking game.
The visitors scored four in the first half and six in the second and as like so many other games this season created chances to have added to their final tally. Jacob Leighton led the way with a superb display of clinical centre forward play with a variety of finishes in a five goal haul. Louis Townsend hooked in a close range half volley, Matt Brennan poached two close range efforts from set plays and full back Ryan Omahony hit two very sweet 25 yard efforts to complete the scoring. Three games to go for the team with second placed position looking realistic and top spot still a possibilty
