Royston Town FC Fantasy League 2013/14
As part of our on-going endeavours to raise vital funds for Royston Town Football Club I am hoping to start a RTFC Fantasy League competition for the up-coming season.
This will be an internet based competition where manager’s select a squad of actual Premier League players which they actively manage via substitutions and transfers through-out the season to earn individual player points that add up to a team score. Points are scored for appearances, clean sheets, assists, goals and lost for goals against, sending offs etc.
It is very easy to enter – just log on – pay your own selected fee for the level of package wanted (£10/£15/£20) – choose a team name and select your own team within the competition parameters ie player cost, formation and player’s premier league teams.

Then upon payment of £50 to the club I will allow you to join the RTFC League -then we will compete against each other for the 2013/2014 league title, a trophy and a cash prize pot for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places – Cash prize pot will be 50% of entrance fees – actual amounts to be determined by number of teams entered. There will also be monthly “manager of the month” prizes and possibly if numbers are good some additional spot prizes along the way.
Also by entering via the official site you also obtain entrance into the national competition with its own league and high cash prizes.
Have some fun and banter through-out the season all while helping the mighty Royston Town – The more the merrier and all profits to club funds. If I get more than 10 genuinely interested I will take this forward. Deadline for payment and registering a team is Thursday 15th August.
