A Convincing Win

A resounding win against a level 5 club was deserved tonight all be it made slightly easier due to a “Biting” incident that resulted in their skipper being sent off.

2-0 at half time and a further three added in the second was very convincing. I’m pleased for the boys involved, some have had to be patient to show their talents and for the goals to be shared amongst 5 lads showed the teams purpose to be positive throughout.

For us (Chris and I) we wanted to give everyone an opportunity whilst still keep us competitive. With cup games excluding the FA Cup and Trophy it does give us a chance to “Experiment” but remain strong. It gives “Fringe” boys show that they deserve a 1st team berth.

So onto Saturday. Another Cup game but this time against a level 2 club so a little bit less experimenting from us and getting our heads back on to keep this great run going.
