Crows Miss Out On Play-Offs

The Crows came agonisingly close to securing a play-off place on Saturday at AFC Hayes.

Play-off rivals Beaconsfield SYCOB were 2-0 down at Ashford Town (Middx) and the Crows were 2-1 up at AFC Hayes (with goals from Tom Malins and Sam Spencer) with just four minutes remaining. Sadly for the Crows, it was not to be – AFC Hayes grabbed an equaliser in the 87th minute to leave the Royston players, staff & supporters disappointed.

However, on reflection, it has been a wonderful debut season in the Southern League and everybody at the Club should be extremely proud and look forward to next season with eager anticipation.
