Crows Swoop for Striker

Royston Town FC have this week signed prolific goalscorer Ryan Redford on a one year contract for the upcoming season. Redford scored 30 goals for Tring Athletic last season in all competitions and has been a leading goalscorer at Hertford Town and Biggleswade Town in previous seasons. He finished third in last season's Premier Division top goalscorer table.

In addition also signing one year deals are John McGrandles, Martin and Matt Standen, Rhys Lawrence, Ricky Young and Jack Bradshaw as manager Paul Attfield gradually finalises his squad in preperation for the new 2011/12 campaign. Pre-season training for the squad commences on Tuesday 5th July.
