Experimenting

A good quarter final tie to report on tonight with us scoring 3 goals away from home without reply by our opposition. Very satisfying especially when a little bit of “Experimenting”  went on in regards to team selection.

We had 2 debuts in Rohdell Gordon and Sam Gaughran, both in my opinion did well and hopefully will take confidence from the match to “Settle in” At this stage of the season it is vital we can keep all lads as fresh as possible, if that means resting some but playing others, hopefully Chris and I can get it about right, it isn’t easy as ALL players will want to play ALL the games but it’s our choice to select carefully but still keep us strong!!

Since the Banbury game the lads have been superb. Attitude has been spot on as has their quality. Selection will be difficult but that comes with the territory of a strong squad.  Happy times at the moment but all of us know things can change so quickly in football. All I know that, to go into these matches with full confidence and most players fit and raring to go can only be positive. Bring the games on!!
