Frater Joins The Crows

Royston Town FC are delighted to announce the signing of defender Ryan Frater. Ryan (32) has spent his career playing Southern League football at Hitchin, St Albans and Arlesey before joining St Neots in 2013. He had a short spell at Biggleswade Town this season before re-joining the Saints in December.

Ryan has been a target for Crows Manager Steve Castle for some time having played under Castle at St Albans City but his desire to continue playing at a higher level has always kept the player at bay. Now with the Crows looking to secure a playoff position the time is right to rekindle that partnership.

With nearly 400 senior appearances Ryan will add a wealth of experience to the Crows defence in their bid to secure promotion this season.

Ryan is not available for selection tomorrow as he is still returning to full fitness after a hamstring strain in mid January but will be pulling on a Crows shirt soon.
