Goals & Chances Aplenty

Hi!

A convincing win against a Leighton Town team last night. 6-0!! Although, believe me it could and should have been more. Hopefully we are saving the goals for Saturday and beyond when the opposition gets tougher and the results become more important.

The pitch was as good as I’ve seen it for this time of year. Well done to the ground staff once again, although where it had dried out so much, it quickly became a little bobbly.
Same for both teams and we did well to create so many chances!

No complaints, we’ll take that, it enhances our impressive goal difference so all good news.

We took no chances at half time, both Chris Watters and Daniel Brathwaite were carrying slight knocks so we had to sub them for Erkan Okay and Ryan Frater. The chances and goals flowed so a comfortable second half was to be enjoyed.

On to a big game on Saturday against AFC Rushden & Diamonds. Hopefully a great atmosphere will be in store so please everyone get yourselves down to support us!!??

A hard selection on Saturday for me. Most lads fit so Thursday training as ever, very important !
