It’s Cup Time!
A great win in the Trophy for us today against a resolute Enfield team.
We had them watched and feedback was that they were a very big team and especially good at set plays.
I thought the display was very good. We looked solid throughout.
It’s a strange week ahead in terms of the type of games. On Tuesday we have a match against St Margaretsbury in the Herts Senior Cup then on Saturday a Herts Charity Cup match at Hemel.
I will or should I say we (Chris and I) will give everyone a opportunity to play. Not to weaken our approach but to rest lads and get fresh legs onto the football pitch. We have really busy schedule this side of Xmas so to get all the squad up to speed will be a priority.
That said I expect the squad to compete in EVERY game. I would love to progress in all the cups. I do not feel they are a hindrance to League form. So to get the right balance will be key over the next few games and most importantly carry on our excellent recent set of results.
Cheers
