Ladies Reach Final

The Crows Ladies put in a great performance to overcome Stevenage Borough Ladies Reserves in the Semi-Final of the League Plate at Hatfield Sports Village this afternoon. 

Leading scorer Jo Rutherford put Royston ahead, but Stevenage equalised with the last kick off the first half, there were no further goals in normal time, so the game went in extra-time.

Two super strikes in the first half of extra-time, by Danielle Lewis and Grace Leslie, gave the Crows the lead that they richly deserved.

Boro scored a late goal to make the final score Stevenage Borough Reserves 2-3 Royston Town.

The other semi-final was won by Hutton, the date & venue of the Final is yet to be confirmed.
