More Vital Minutes
Hello.
Reporting in after another pre-season game, against Colney Heath.
We won 2-1 with goals by Stu Bridges and Kaan Fehmi. Result not particularly important but more than that vital minutes for all the lads.
We have plenty of players needing to get up to speed and another small step towards that was achieved!
Generally fitness levels are increasing, some needing more game time than others but overall pleased with the progression of the group.
If I’m being critical, which at this stage of proceedings I’m not, but a few too many silly mistakes are “gifting” goals but as long as we get these out the way with a bit more concentration we’ll be fine.
AFC Sudbury next on Saturday on their 3G pitch. A test against a level higher team will do us good.
It’s where we want to be, so a good guide will be the outcome.
Everyone around the group is upbeat about the upcoming season, it would be good to get a couple of morale boosting wins under our belt because the season is fast approaching!
For me great if this happens but more importantly no injuries and lads getting fitter is the priority at this stage.
Cheers,
SC
