Moving On

After eight years at the Club and with over 350 appearances to his name, Carl Edwards has requested the cancellation of his contract with the Crows. Carl was an integral part of our promotion winning side in 2011/12 but despite being involved in every squad he has struggled to hold down a regular starting place since Steve Castle took charge last December.

The Club fully understand Carl’s desire for regular first team football and have agreed to his request. We would like to thank Carl sincerely for his service to the Club and wish him all the very best for the future.

Also moving on is our Reserve Team Coach and Assistant Manager, John Bitting. JB has been offered the position of Assistant Manager at Biggleswade Town who play one level higher than us in the Southern League Premier Division. Whilst we are naturally very disappointed to lose such a talented Coach, the Club fully respects his decision to progress his footballing career and we wish his well in his new role.
