Much Better

Hi Everyone.

A much better performance to report on today with a convincing win against fellow title challengers in Marlow.

The lads, wanting to redeem themselves after a very disappointing show on Tuesday, were “At it” from the start. A great bit of play by our 2 young’uns in Gus Scott and Josh Castiglione on our right hand side, ended with a saved effort from Josh for a relatively easy header for Kaan Fehmi.

1-0 up, with our confidence back up we dictated the play in the first half culminating in a 3-0 score line.

We added one more in the 2nd half but Marlow made more of a show, scoring twice to in their eyes make it more respectable.

For us the lack of a clean sheet was a slight downer but in general a good afternoon was had at Garden Walk. Special praise to our midfield who provided forceful running and vital support to our front line.

Hitchin to come in the League Cup this Tuesday, then Egham in the Trophy on Saturday. Very important we make a great effort in both matches. Although the League is a priority. To have a run would do the club a world of good.
