On to the Play-Offs

A great atmosphere at Garden Walk yesterday, hoping to see the Crows over the line!

Unfortunately this scenario didn’t happen. In as much that we could only manage the draw against a tough Egham team and the result that we wanted elsewhere didn’t happen also!

Fair play to Kings Langley. They have won more games than us, we had the title in our hands and didn’t quiet manage to secure it.

Looking back, results at North Greenford, Potters Bar and Uxbridge were the ones that we could kick ourselves for not getting maximum points. There were others but in general we consistently showed that we were amongst the better teams in the League.

Second for the second year in a row is no mean achievement and full plaudits go to the squad and the staff.

Onto the play-offs and Rushden the first opponents on Tuesday. A really tough match and one that will have a fantastic atmosphere.

The lads need to rest up, refresh themselves and “Go again”.

We are a tight unit, everyone is pulling for one another, keep on believing and with a little bit of luck we can achieve via the play-offs what we have set out to do!!

Cheers,
SC
