Player Update

Joining the Crows from National League South side Chelmsford City is goalkeeper Joe Welch.

Joe (27) started his career at Southend United before joining Histon where he played over 50 games and earned a loan deal at Stevenage. After a spell at Ebbsfleet Joe moved to Bromley in 2012 and was voted their supporters’ player of the season.

In 2014 he joined St Albans and during his first season won both the supporters’ player of the season award and also the players’ player of the season award. Joe was released by the Saints at the end of the 2015/2016 season and subsequently signed for Chelmsford City.
