Pre-Season Update

Apologies for the lack of blogs throughout pre-season but to partially placate you guys, three game assessments in one.

Firstly our longest journey of the preseason. A match against Peterborough Sports.
With them recently been promoted again, we were expecting a tough match. We had to make certain changes due to lads arriving late. In the match both first half and second was treated with upmost professionalism and a convincing victory was deserved.

On to Soham, I made the choice of “Resting” a few but those that played didn’t in my opinion approach the game in the same manner as they did on Tuesday. Consequently we struggled to create any real chances of note and combined with a young enthusiastic Soham team a scoreless draw probably flattered us rather than them.

Barton at home tonight was next on the list. Lads rested on Saturday came back into the fold and a strong Crows team competed against a equally impressive Barton Rovers team.

4-0 rather flattered us but some really good performances by most of us was extremely satisfying.

Lastly a big “Crows” welcome to Adam Marriott. Adam hopefully will be the icing on the cake to what is already a very talented squad.

Generally the players have shown a tremendous attitude since starting back. A few glitches but overall impressive displays showing we will at worst compete at our new level. You never know, we could surprise a few!!

Cheers,
SC
