Steve Donoghue

It is with great sadness that the Club learned that Steve died at the age of 58 at his care home in Stevenage on Saturday.

He will be remembered as one of the Club’s greatest supporters and there is no doubt that following RTFC, in spite of his disability, was at the centre of his life. He first started following the Club as a very young boy with his father Clive who was a long serving Committee member and Trustee and together they could be seen every home game making sure the match day raffle was a success.

We have been told by Steve’s sister Shirley that he died with a smile on his face at 5:35pm on Saturday shortly after learning that his beloved team had just won 2 – 0 at Marlow.
