TOM NEWMAN DEPARTS

Royston Town FC can today confirm that Tom Newman has decided to leave the club in search of regular football.

Tom originally joined the Crows at the start of the 2018/19 season and apart from a short spell in Spain last season has been at Garden Walk ever since. Tom is a popular member of the squad and has often impressed when called upon.

Crows boss Chris Watters commented “Tom’s a great lad and we really didn’t want to see him leave but I fully understand his desire to get regular game time. There’s no doubt he will be a great asset to any squad. Myself and everyone at the club wish him all the best and he knows that he is welcome back here anytime!”
