TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – 5th & 6th October

Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC, Royston Town Women, Royston Town Reserves and Royston Town Vets.

 

First up, Royston Town will travel to fellow league side Lowestoft Town in the FA Trophy 3rd Round Qualifying, Saturday, 3pm kick-off. Royston Town will be looking here for a win this time round after we met in the league last month with Lowestoft Town came from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

We will be running a coach to the game, which will depart at 10:45am from King James Town Hall Car Park.

 

Next up, Royston Town Women are back at home after a few weeks away , and they host Needham Market Women in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, Sunday, 2pm kick-off. Royston Town Women will be looking for a 8th straight win on the bounce, while Needham Market have picked up a bit of forum recently.

Parking is limited and the nearest car park is the Town Hall car park postcode SG8 7XB. Parking is free on a Sunday.

Next up, Royston Town Reserves are back in action after a week away and they have a cup match when they travel to Watford to take on London Cheetahs in the 1st round of the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy Saturday, 2pm kick-off. Royston Town finished as finalists last season so will hope to go one better this time round.

Last up, Royston Town Vets are back in league action when they travel to Welywn Garden City to take on Welwyn Sports & Social Club Vets in the Herts Vets League, Sunday, 10am kick-off. Royston Town Vets currently are one point behind our hosts in the league with Royston having a game in hand.
