TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – August 12th & 13th
Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC and Royston Town Women’s FC. I will also be adding Royston Town U23’s content as well but they don’t have a game this weekend.
First off Royston Town Football Club welcome Bromsgrove Sporting as their 1st league game at home this season. They were our last home game of the season where Royston ran out 4-0 winners so Bromsgrove Sporting will be looking for revenge.
Both clubs will be looking to get off the mark as we lost our opening games of the season with us losing at relegated Telford United and Bromsgrove losing at home to local Worcestershire rivals Redditch United.
Our head to head record and previous meetings shows that we just edge Bromsgrove Sporting by a win.
It’s really early to be posting up league tables at the moment. However this is Saturday’s match day fixtures:

And now on to Royston Town Women’s FC, they travel to Essex on Sunday to take on Bower’s & Pitsea Women in their season curtain opening in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier division.
The Women’s team will definitely want to improve in the league and challenge for promotion this season in a very strong league.
In terms of head to head against Bower’s & Pitsea Women they just edge Royston Town Women by a win.
