TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – Feb 3rd & 4th

Welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town Women and Royston Town U23’s.

First up, Royston Town Women are back at Garden Walk this weekend when they host Barking FC in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier on Sunday with a 2pm kick off. Royston Town Women won 3-1 at AFC Dunstable and with Haringey Borough Women losing at St Albans City Women Royston have now climbed up to 2nd in the league. Royston Town Women are on a great run of league form with 21 points from their last seven games and hoping to round up another three points on Sunday.

Last up Royston Town U23’s travel to Leighton Town Development in the Spartan South Midlands Division One, Saturday 3pm kick off.

Royston Town U23’s had a league break last weekend when they played Oracle Components in the Hertfordshire Centenary Trophy and won 2-0 to reach the final and this week they won another cup game when they beat Rushden & Higham United 6-2 to reach the quarter finals of the Spartan South Midlands division cup and will host Northampton Sileby Rangers in the Quarter Finals.

Royston Town U23’s will be looking to get some revenge after Leighton Town Development beat them 3-0 in the reverse fixture a few weeks ago.
