TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – JAN 13th & 14th

Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC, Royston Town Women and Royston Town U23’s.

First up Royston Town FC who are away as they travel to Worcestershire to take on Bromsgrove Sporting FC in the Southern League Premier Central. Both sides haven’t lost a game since the 16th of December when both won. Bromsgrove Sporting’s nickname is the Rouslers which is named after:

Bromsgrove Sporting came into existence in 2009 after a supporters consortium with the option to take over Bromsgrove Rovers with the club in administration, however they safeguarded another Bromsgrove football club just in case. About a year later Bromsgrove Rovers dissolved and Bromsgrove Sporting played their first ever match at the current ground in November 2010 with a 7-0 victory against Greenhill in the Midland Combination Division Two (Step 8).

Admission prices for the game are:

Adults £12 (18-65), Concessions £10 (65+), Disabled £9 (Qualifying Id), Youngsters £3 (12-17), Juniors £1 (3-11 Must be accompanied by an adult).

The turnstiles accepts both cash and card.

We will be running a coach to the game as well, departure time is 10:15am from King James Town Hall Car Park which is £10 per person.

Next up is Royston Town Women who are also away with a trip to the Norfolk Broads when they play Wroxham Women in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division on Sunday with a 2pm kick off. Wroxham Women’s nickname is the Yachtswomen and was founded in 2019. Last Sunday Royston Town Women came from behind to Needham Market Women with a 3-1 victory after a 10 minute demolition with three goals. While Wroxham Women lost 3-2 against Stevenage Women.

Adults £5, Concessions £4 and Juniors £1

Last up is Royston Town U23’s who have a home match against Leighton Town Development in the Spartan South Midlands Division One if you can’t make the first team game at Bromsgrove Sporting.

75p for an hour / 85p for 2 hours / £1.15 for 3 hours / £3.60 for more than 3 hours.
