TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – Mar 2nd & 3rd
Hi and welcome to this weekend preview with Royston Town FC, Royston Town Women and Royston Town U23’s.
First up, Royston Town are at home when they host local rivals St Ives Town FC in the Southern League Premier Central, kick-off 3pm. Royston Town impressed us with a 3-0 win over Halesowen Town last Saturday and will be looking to get on the winning side after a 3-2 defeat to St Ives Town back in October last year.

75p for an hour / 85p for 2 hours / £1.15 for 3 hours / £3.60 for more than 3 hours. After 3pm parking is free.

Next up Royston Town Women will host Harpenden Town Women, this time round in the semi-final of the Herts FA Women’s Cup, on Sunday with a 2pm kick-off. The last two Sunday’s have seen the game we lost out to a postponement and an abandoned game last Sunday with a nasty injury. Last Sunday we had an attendance of 164 through the gate. We would love to see the same turn up in numbers or more!

Last up is Royston Town U23’s when they travel to Wellingborough, Northamptonshire when they take on Wellingborough Whitworth in the Spartan South Midlands Division One, Saturday 3pm kick-off. Royston Town U23’s got back to winning ways after a 3-2 win against Moulton and a 5-0 win at Rushden & Higham United. Wellingborough Whitworth’s nickname is the Flourmen the club was founded at Whitworth as the town and ground is near the flour mill factory.
