TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – Sept 30th & Oct 1st

Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC, Royston Town Women and Royston Town U23’s

First up is Royston Town Women FC as they host St Albans City Ladies in the Women’s FA Cup this Sunday.

Us and St Albans City both play in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division. This is a big day for Royston Town Women as this as 25 years ago they played in their first ever Women’s FA Cup!

Our attendance record currently stands at 243 which was set last season against London Seaward in the same competition but we would love to see that be beaten by much more our target is 250 or more.

Next up Royston Town FC host Leamington FC in the Southern League Premier Central this Saturday in their first ever meeting between the clubs we look forward to our first ever game between each other and welcoming the Leamington players, officials and supporters to a new ground.

Last up is Royston Town U23’s they have no league game this weekend but still have a game as they travel to Sandridge Rovers in the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy.

We played Sandridge Rovers a few times in our Herts Senior County League Days. This will be our first ever cup meeting.
