Welcome to a New Season

Hi Everyone.

Hope you all have had a restful Summer?

Plenty of to’s & fro’s going on in the World of Football and no different at the home of the “Crows”!!

On a negative we lost both Rhys Hoenes and Liam McDevitt to St Albans & St Ives respectively. Both have gone with our best wishes and both to teams of a higher League so we can’t complain much.

On a positive note we have got back a very popular lad in Kaan Fehmi. Kaan has not missed a session and has shown a fantastic, mature attitude from “Daddy” Kaany!!

We are hopeful of bringing in further recruits alongside the returning Spyros Mentis!

Results so far in the pre-season haven’t been spectacular, we tried a new formation against Hitchin. We showed glimpses of good play especially going forward but got caught in possession too many times! A lesson learnt!

Against Hoddesdon we yet again had a lion’s share of possession but lacked the physical side for once!

Pre-season matches are so hard to judge but as long as injuries are kept to a minimum and required fitness levels are reached, for once results come secondary.

Colney Heath (away) next up tomorrow (Tuesday, 7:30pm ko), then AFC Sudbury (also away) on Saturday.
