CROWS BLOG: ONWARDS AND UPWARDS

Hi guys,

A great result on Saturday against a strong and in-form Rushall Olympic! It was a win that in my opinion, we deserved but that said they a very good opposition to play against.

We are in a rich vein of form at the moment but for the loss last week we have performed exceptionally well and fair play to the squad!

I wouldn’t say that we are the finished article by any means but of late the boys have done really well to  ‘dig deep’ to produce some good performances and achieve some great results!

What this upturn in form does do is make for a very interesting run-in to the end of the season. At this point in time,  I think that we would be classed as an outside bet for a playoff place but you never know in football!

What I do know is that we have plenty more games to play at home so please if you get the chance, do come along and support us. It is always appreciated by everyone at the club – playing staff, management, the board and all the volunteers!

It’s still too early in the campaign to look back on our previous performances but what I do know is that at the moment the players seem more confident in proceedings and situations than they have in a while. This is all very pleasing from my perspective.

So, onwards and upwards then. We have another home game coming up this Saturday against Redditch United. I know it’s a cliche but we are going to keep on taking it ‘one game at a time’ but let’s ALL give it a push from now!
