Keep The Faith

Hi there.

I haven’t done a blog for a while due to a hectic time both on and off the pitch.

It really has been a crazy period for the club, getting so many injuries and suspensions in such a short time-frame has been testing to say the least.

We as staff have had to pick up the pieces, get on with it and put out a competitive team as best we can. In general the players have been good in their attitude but it has become unsettling for us all.

Consequently our results have suffered. We all have to roll up our sleeves, try to eliminate our “Basic” errors and carry on. There have been some positives. The recent form of James Potton has been pleasing. His quality on the ball is outstanding.

Onwards and hopefully upwards from now. Make ourselves harder to beat and keep the quality going forward. Our defending especially from set plays has been poor so work to be done for us on the training ground.

All the while, gradually getting lads back to full fitness so we can push on.

Personally I have never known a time like this at the football club, injures, suspensions, lads joining, leaving.

It’s a testing time but nothing we can’t all get over and get back on track. Starting on Tuesday against Hitchin in the cup.

Keep the faith everyone!!

Cheers,
SC
