Two goals in each half saw Royston take the points and strengthen their grip on sixth place.
Royston started at a fast pace putting Biggleswade on the back foot from the start. A number of dangerous crosses kept the Waders back line under pressure and it was from one such cross that Royston somewhat fortuitously took the lead in the 17th minute. A Scott Bridges cross was not dealt with and Connor Hall ended up clearing the ball against defensive partner Reece Fielding, with the ball ricocheting into the net to give Royston the lead.
The score was quickly doubled, as just a minute later Adam Marriott added the second, collecting a fine through ball from Lee Chappell before driving the ball low into the corner of the net.
The rest of the half saw a personal duel develop between Waders striker Jack Bowen and Crows keeper Josh Tibbetts as three times the home stopper denied him to preserve the two goal advantage.
The second half saw Royston control proceedings although some sloppy passing at times kept Biggleswade interested. However the win was cemented in the 63rd minute as Marriott converted a penalty, after he had been brought down by Patrick SinfIeld, as he attempted to round the young keeper.
The scoring was completed in the 78th minute as Royston substitute Michael Baulk collected a loose ball in the Biggleswade box before turning and firing past SinfIeld, to round off what turned out to be a comprehensive Royston victory.
