Royston eventually claimed the three points, as an 88th minute penalty from Tom Knowles won the day for the Crows.
It was the Crows who had the better of the first half, as they went into the break with a 2-0 lead. The first goal was scored by Eren Kinali, who slotted home from a James Potton cross, after the home side had worked hard to keep the ball alive, following a Tom Knowles free kick.
The lead was doubled in first half stoppage time as Adam Murray latched onto a through ball from Joe Newton. With defenders covering well Murray turned and fired low into the corner.
The second half saw Stourbridge pressing hard, but the Crows were looking fairly comfortable. This changed in the 65th minute as Aaron Forde played a one two and crossed for Brad Birch to convert and breathe life into a Glassboys comeback.
The equaliser followed in the 79th minute, as a strong run from Greg Mills, ended with him laying the ball to Forde, who made no mistake from the edge of the box.
Having been instrumental in the comeback, Forde provided another turning point just two minutes later as he received his marching orders for a second yellow card.
With Royston now sensing victory Murray used his body well to win an 88th minute penalty as Stuart Pierpoint brought him down. With three points on the line Knowles stepped up and confidently despatched the ball into the top corner, as the Crows recorded their 6th victory in their last 7 games.
