With practically the last kick of the season Sam Corcoran won the game for the Crows in the 93rd minute.
Corcoran latched onto a flick on from Adam Murray and calmly lobbed the ball over away custodian Liam Castle and thus ensure a top ten finish for the home side.
Chances had been few and far between, particularly in the first half, with the only notable save being from Joe Welch, as he tipped a Daniel Durkin volley away from his goal.
The second half was a slightly more open affair, as Royston threatened through substitute Corcoran and Adam Murray, who had a close range effort well saved by Castle.
The Crows had Welch to thank as he made a fine triple save with five minutes remaining, thwarting Nigel Julian and two further efforts from Durkin, to leave the stage set for Corcoran to grab the very late winner.
